A stage full of stars

A stage full of stars!
Eighty children aged 7 to 14 held the first concert and, simultaneously, the inaugural concert of the Children's Orchestra of Pristina, which was made possible by the first non-public primary school of music in Kosovo, 'Amadeus.'
Music education plays a vital role in the early development of children; therefore, it was our duty to join forces and organize the children's orchestra, thus making it possible for children from an early age to have the opportunity to perform with an orchestra, get to know the stage and create a stable base for their career.
Eighty children aged 7 to 14 participated in the first concert of the children's orchestra of Pristina, organized by our school, the first non-public primary school of music in Kosovo, 'Amadeus.'
With the hall full of emotions, parents, and family members of the children who were soon expected to perform, it was challenging to manage the feelings of pride and fulfillment and the organization of seats for the audience that exceeded all our expectations.
The concert was opened by the Director of the 'Amadeus school, Hana Petrovci-Fetahu, who used the opportunity to greet all those present and told about the work process in general, to give the turn to the group of guitarists 'Amadeus,' with the work of Zequinha De Abreu - 'Tico Tico,' in which Allegra Bajrami, Dastid Ymeri, and Reina Zejnullahu performed.
The second point of the performance was marked with the solo singing group, who performed the Arbëreshe Song. Performers of this point were Era Latifi, Morea Fetahu, Noa Basha, Viktoria Ibrahimi, Rea Curri, and Eta Svarça. The song 'E lule lule" was the one that changed the color of emotions, giving enthusiasm and tactful applause in the hall all the time while this song was performed, at the end of which there was even more powerful applause to give thanks for this beautiful interpretation.
Other performance points were "Për ty atdh" by Pjetër Gaci with soloist Leona Ferati, 'Central Park' by James Newton Howard with soloist Arjona Ramadani (piano), 'Why Are We Apart' by Selami Kolonja from the school choir and soloist Leona Ferati, 'Swan Lake' by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, where the students of Amadeus, Era Bajrami, Hana Bajrami, and Ajla Talla, performed, which made the evening more beautiful with their dance.
While the last performance was 'Oh our country',  by Rashid Krasniqi, from the school choir and soloists Arjona Ramadani and Art Grajçevci, concentrating on their program, the students very carefully accompanied their conductor Vehbi Shosholli, whom we thank for the dedication shown for months.
All orchestra members, choir, soloists, and dancers were awarded gratitude as a sign of appreciation and thanks for their work, success, and readiness to realize such a concert.
The next such concert is expected to be held for the end of the year holidays, to continue with many other activities and organizations in the future from our school together with our stars!
